History: Anjelica Lainey was raised by her overly eccentric mother. Her mother was barely human, so she pretty much raised herself. If not for a life-changing ride on the Hogwarts Express at 11 with Cassandra Cooper, Anjelica Lainey might have never gained what little social skills she possesses.
At Hogwarts, Anj and Cass were both sorted into Ravenclaw, though Anj often questioned her position there. Surely the Sorting Hat only placed her there because she'd asked it to keep her with Cass. Either way, the Cass and Anj were inseparable throughout their years at Hogwarts. They remained inseparable after school and right into the Auror Training Program.
During Auror training, Cass met, fell in love with, and married Alexander Rae, one of the Auror trainers who was a few years older than her. Rae was a fairly well-known and well-liked Auror, having gained some notoriety for his roguish charm and heroic deeds. Problem there was that Anj also loved Rae - from the tips of her toes to the end of her nose, she loved him. She never told a soul. Anj was a full-time Auror for almost two years, partnering with Rae and Rae in a variety of dangerous missions. One evening, on what should have been an easy raid, the team was lured into a trap. Alexander and Anj were killed in the fight, and Cass was injured and pulled out by another team member.
Funny thing though, Lainey's time apparently wasn't up. She stayed with hers and Rae's body in an ethereal form - then disappeared completely for a few years. What can only be called fate brought ghost!Lainey back to Cassandra Rae and Hogwarts. Headmaster Hendrik offered her the History of Magic position and Lainey accepted.
In a serious of unfortunate, odd, terrible, and wonderful events, Anjelica Lainey was given her body back. With her body, also came her life back. Though there were definite rough patches, many Ministry inquiries and stone throwers, Lainey was happy and healthy and continued teaching at Hogwarts.
These days, Lainey is retired from teaching and the Aurors. She is happily married to the man she should have loved for decades more than she did. Alec Cooper, Cassandra Rae's younger brother, has pretty much loved Lainey since the first time she went the Cooper home on holiday at 11 years old. It took Anj years and years to reciprocate that love.
They married in a private ceremony and are now the proud parents of Colby Jack Cooper.

Briony Giada Avalon

Hair: Dirty blonde.. ish

Physical appearance: Briony is ... skinny. Ridiculously skinny. As a flier though, the lack of any sort of bulk at all helps her be fast. If you value your life, you'll not make reference to her size or figure in any way except for compliments. She's always tan from her extensive time outside - out of the Inn and AWAY from that insufferable ghostly grandmother.
Personality: Briony is impatient. She likes things to be done her way, the right way, or not at all. If she has a question, she asks it, and if she doesn't like you, you probably know it. She's stubborn and head strong, but somehow still manages to be soft with the right person. Briony is closest to her father.
History and other stuff you need to know: Briony is the 2nd child of the Avalons, the younger sister to Caroline Avalon (healer at Hogwarts) and older sister to Evie. There's Tobi Avalon, too, but really we hardly even count him. Anywho, Briony's family is the owner of the Avalon Inn. Her mother is a muggle (gasp) and her father is a wizard. The Inn houses both muggles and wizard type. Briony's ready to leave the nest and get a place of her own. Though large, the Inn is just getting smaller and smaller for her. She's coming to realise that unlike her younger sibling(s), she has no place there.
Her real place is on some International Quidditch Team! You hear that, International Teams? OPENYOUREYES! For now, Briony is a Chaser for the Holyhead Harpies.
She apparently has a knack for getting herself photographed in improper positions with International players. Yes, we mean you Adriano Nose-in-the-Cleavage Toussaint and Nikolai I-think-I'm-cute Vannacutt.

Lucy Malfoy
Age/Year at start of RP: 11/1st year
Class: Class of 2033-40
House: Unicorn
Hair: Spiraling blond curls that are worn in a variety of different ways. She keeps it long though.
Eyes: Lucy has her father's eyes as far as shape, but inherited the green from her mother.
Physical: Lucy is 11 and she's small. She hasn't hit puberty yet, so she's just a baby still, really. She dresses in nothing but the best and is very, very rarely seen in anything less than a dress. Lucy keeps QP's in business.
Pet: Lucy has a white Persian cat named Lucifer.
Wand: 7 and 3/4' Hawthorn, Phoenix feather core
Background: Lucy is the first born of Orion and Joey Malfoy. She's a worldly little lady, going everywhere Joey and Orion went with their job. She'll tell you as much, showing off her various trinkets from the world. Lucy loves gold and glitter and anything expensive. However, she is strangely giving (to the right people). She idolizes Persephone and tries hard to be her protege. Lucy also loves her Aunt Quinn more than life because she keeps her clothed (and is a gorgeous, refined lady).
Lucy has always taken it to heart when her father and grandparents called her a princess. That's why Leo's birth was a bit of an event for her. he stole her thunder and Lucy took a while to warm up to him. He's still a little rat of a brother, but Lucy is mildly protective of him.
Lucy is eloquent in all her ways and gifted performer (I think she dances and is a very good speaker). She exudes natural charm (a trait from Orion), but also has a temper (From Joey).
